One of Bernard Bruno's 11 'Patou' [Great Pyrenees sheepdog] beside his flock that graze above the Plateau de Longon, in the Moyenne Tinée region of the Mercantour National Park, French Alps, France, 01 August 2013. Their presence may be controversial, especially in areas where walking trails are present. Patous can behave aggressively towards strangers approaching their flocks of sheep and hikers often complain about the dogs.
