Mediterranean moon jellyfish 'Aurelia aurita' at the Musée Océanographique, Monaco, 5 July 2013. These jellyfish have a short life-span of only a few months. They are fragile: if they come into contact with the sides of the aquarium wall they could die, so a circular current of water is maintained inside the tank to keep them suspended in the water.
