Denis Rogeri, sheep-raiser, sits at the table at home, La Bollène Vésubie, Alpes-Maritimes, France, 02 August 2013. Denis, 52 years old, has been raising sheep and pasturing them in the mountains over the summer, since 1988. He and his wife Eliane used to have 1000 sheep, but have now cut the herd down to 700, as management of the large herd with the threat of wolves has become increasingly hard. They lost around 30 sheep to wolf attacks last year alone.
